Schein Orthopädie Service KG

The beginnings of the company date back to the year 1879, when Heinrich Schein senior produced orthopaedic treatments alongside his profession as a shoemaker. In 1926 production itself started, as did trade with medical foot supports, which he had patented for himself. Since 2001 the Remscheid-based company of F.W. Kraemer has belonged to the Schein group. This company can also look back on a long orthopaedic tradition.

People around the world trust Schein´s brand and technologies. The company has ist headquarters in Remscheid, Germany. The Schein group of companies also includes ATeC Shoes GmbH in Erfurt and RuckgaberBrüggemann in Rottenburg. Schein employs about 400 people in Germany.

Schein is audited and certified according to ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV Rheinland CERT GmbH.
