Swabs
What are swabs?
As the name suggests, swabs consist of a thin stick and a usually soft head, for example made of cotton wool. The material and size of the sticks and the heads can vary.
Swabs are primarily used to treat superficial wounds: Cleaning, taking samples, applying substances and stopping bleeding. They are also used by ENT doctors, often to administer a substance.
In addition, the practical sticks are often used in cosmetics, for body care and for cleaning small parts.
What distinguishes our selection of Swabs?
We offer a wide range of sterile and non-sterile swabs:
- Wooden swabs with small cotton head
- Aluminium sticks with cotton head
- Polypropylene sticks with extra-hard viscose head
- Polypropylene rods with large head (cotton on top, foam on bottom)
This guarantees that the right instrument is available for every special application. For example, the cotton-tipped swabs are recommended for use by ENT specialists.
Our sterile cotton buds are all individually wrapped.
Please note (in the medical field):
- Only suitable for single use
