What are disposable scalpels?

A scalpel is a surgical instrument with a sharp blade used to make surgical incisions on the body. Disposable scalpels have a fixed blade.

 

What are scalpel blades?

Scalpel blades are used for reusable scalpels. After use, the blade is discarded and the scalpel is thoroughly cleaned so that it can be used again with a new blade. Scalpel blades should never be used more than once in the medical field.

 

 

What distinguishes our selection of disposable scalpels and scalpel blades?

 

We have a variety of disposable scalpels to cover the different sizes and types of surgery. The ergodynamic scalpels feature stainless steel blades for precise cutting and non-toxic plastic handles with ribbed finger grips for a secure grip. The blade is protected by an easy-to-remove cap. Each scalpel is individually sterile packed in a peel pack.

Our blades are made of sturdy carbon steel and are available in various sizes and for different handle sizes. The scalpel blades are individually sterile packed in an aluminium peel pack.

 

 

Please note:

- Only suitable for single use

- Use only by a qualified surgeon or paramedic

- Sterilised by gamma irradiation

- Store in a dry place, away from light, in the original packaging, at temperatures between 5° and 50°C
